Welcome to Cherokee County!
It is a pleasure for me to extend personally, as well as on behalf of the Chairman and Board of Commissioners, a cordial welcome to the Cherokee County website. We believe Cherokee County to be one of the best counties in the state and nation - perfectly located 30 miles north of Atlanta where “Metro Meets the Mountains”. A picturesque community rich in history and character, Cherokee is unique. What is great about Cherokee County, let’s count the ways:
