Content also includes how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, choking, and other first aid emergencies, as well as perform CPR and use an AED. Participants over the age of 14 will receive a card upon meeting all of the testing requirements and completing the class. The American Heart Association First Aid CPR AED card will be good for two years from the date of completion of the course.

Please arrive on time for class.  If you arrive more than 15 minutes late you will need to come to another class.  Wear comfortable clothing as the class will require participants to kneel on the floor.  You may want to bring a jacket as the classroom is sometimes cold.
