COVID-19 INFORMATION

Schedule a COVID-19 testing appointment in Cherokee County by calling the Department of Public Health Direct Patient Line at 1-888-881-1474.

Direct Patient Line hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit The Courts of the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit and Cherokee County will continue to operate under the Judicial Emergency Order governing operation of the Courts of this State entered by Chief Justice Harold Melton of the Supreme Court of Georgia on March 14, 2020. The Courts will remain open to address essential functions as provided in the Judicial Emergency Order. Court proceedings will remain open to the public. (view latest emergency order)

The Cherokee County Government and Cherokee Emergency Management Agency is working closely with the Department of Public Health, and all local public safety agencies to monitor and prepare for a potential outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Capital Projects Update
The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners are committed to improving facilities and infrastructure in Cherokee County through Capital Projects. A Capital Project is financed by public funds obtained through the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) which are used to build, renovate, or buy equipment, property, facilities, parks in addition to infrastructure and information technology systems that are to be used as a public asset or to benefit the public.
