Environmental Review Records for Public Review

The Cherokee County CDBG Program Office intends to submit a Request for Release of Funds to HUD for proposed projects that have been deemed to have no significant impact on the human evironment.  As a result of the finding of no significant impact, an Environmental Impact Statement under the National Environmental Polcy Act of 1969 (NEPA) is not required.  The public has 15 days to submit written objections or comments to the CDBG Program Office, via US mail to: Susan Filiberto, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA  30114; or, via email at [email protected]. Each project link establishes the comment period with which interested parties have to respond to a proposed action and contains detailed infromation about each project. Any objections to HUD's release of funds should be submitted via email to the Atlanta Field Office to [email protected]
