The Mission Statement of the Cherokee County DUI/Drug Court is to protect the public safety, and reduce the criminal recidivism rate of repeat DUI offenders through an integrated approach that involves court supervision, substance abuse treatment services, and personal accountability, resulting in positive and long lasting life changes.
Welcome to the DUI/Drug Court website. This website is intended for participant's who are currently in the Cherokee County DUI/Drug Court Program or the Cherokee County Misdemeanor Drug Court Program. There are links to important documents you may need while in the program as well as contact information for the Team Members. Please check back for important updates and announcements. DUI Court will be on July 11, 2019. DUI Court Graduation will be held on July 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Historic Courthouse. All participants must attend both court dates.
Misdemeanor Drug Court will be on July 2, July 16, and July 30. All phases must attend every court date.
DUI/Drug Court office will be closed on Thursday, July 4th in observance of the holiday and Friday, July 26th.
*NOTICE: Effective January 1, 2017 the DUI Court office will no longer accept cash payments. We will accept money orders and credit/debit card payments with an added fee of 4.95%.
