Mission Statement
The Mission Statement of the Cherokee County DUI/Drug Court is to protect the public safety, and reduce the criminal recidivism rate of repeat DUI offenders through an integrated approach that involves court supervision, substance abuse treatment services, and personal accountability, resulting in positive and long lasting life changes.
Welcome to the DUI/Drug Court website. This website is intended for participant's who are currently in the Cherokee County DUI/Drug Court Program or the Cherokee County Misdemeanor Drug Court Program. There are links to important documents you may need while in the program as well as contact information for the Team Members. Please check back for important updates and announcements. **ATTENTION: DUI/Drug Court has posted a COVID-19 Operating protocol for DUI Court and Misd. Drug Court, located under "Forms and Documents." PLEASE READ THIS PROTOCOL! The Courthouse, lab, Price Counseling, and probation are still OPEN to the public. If you are participant in the program and experience any symptoms of COVID-19, please contact the office immediately at (678) 493-6450.
DUI Court Participants: All participants are required to attend DUI Court via Zoom on 02/18/21. An email will be sent with all the details.
Misd. Drug Court Participants: All participants will be required to attend Drug Court via Zoom on 02/16/21 at 4:00 p.m. An email will be sent with all the details.
DUI/Drug Court payments are due on the last business day of each month. Money orders or personal checks will be accepted and can be slid under the door of the DUI/Drug Court office. Please ensure your name is clearly written on your payment. Payments can be mailed to the DUI/Drug Court office (ATTN: DUI/Drug Court, 90 North Street, Suite 370, Canton, GA 30114). If you need to make a credit card payment, please call the office to make an appointment (added fee of 4.95%).
*NOTICE: Effective January 1, 2017 the DUI Court office will no longer accept cash payments. We will accept money orders and credit/debit card payments with an added fee of 4.95%.
