DBE Program Goals

Federal Fiscal Year 2024-2027

The Cherokee Area Transit Service (CATS) announces it’s proposed Federal Fiscal Year 2024-2027 goal of 4.30%  for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. A description and complete details are available during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., at the office of the CATS Director, 884 Univeter Rd, Canton, Georgia 30115.

Goals and calculation processes are available for public inspections and input until March 20, 2024. Comments should be sent to the Transit Director, 884 Univeter Rd., Canton, Georgia 30115

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners is applying for funding under the Section 5310 Mobility

 

Of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Transportation Program to meet the special needs of elderly

 

and disabled individuals located in Cherokee County.  To assure that

 

private for-profit transportation providers have a fair opportunity to participate in the development of this

 

program, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners solicits private sector input and participation.

                 

 

Disadvantage Business Enterprises and any private for-profit transportation operator interested in

 

providing or participating in any or all the above services should submit a written notice of intent to:
