Indigent Defense Office Named After Attorney David L Cannon Sr

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Monday, June 1, 2026 honoring the new 94 North Street which houses the Cherokee County Indigent Defense Office.

The Indigent Defense Office in Cherokee has been renamed to honor the late David L. Cannon, Sr.

We are pleased to introduce the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit David L. Cannon, Sr. Cherokee County Indigent Defense Office.
