Pearidge Community

In May 2025, Cherokee County and the Charlie Ferguson Community Center were recognized with the opportunity to participate in the Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP) as sponsored by the Atlanta Regional Commission.

This project will feature collaboration between Cherokee County, the City of Canton, and the Charlie Ferguson Community Center.

On July 21, 2026 the Board of Commissioners adopted the Pearidge Small Area Pla as an amendment to the 2023 Comprehensive Plan.
