Communications Division

(JUNE 26, 2024) -- Local seniors received free health services at the inaugural Wellness-On-Wheels Health Fair event hosted in partnership with Cherokee County Senior Services and CareSource. This event was held on June 25 at the Senior Center in Canton and drew a crowd of roughly 100 seniors. Offerings included non-urgent medical care, vision and behavioral health care at no cost.

(JUNE 24, 2024) -- County, city and public safety leaders were joined by community stakeholders June 18 to discuss transportation safety as part of the Safe Streets For All transportation safety plan.
